TLMGB operate in the Vending Machine sector. The primary nature of our supply chain is that we employ regional vending operators on a sub-contract basis for contracts managed by TLMGB. These operators procure some goods that are sourced, purchased, and imported into the UK from around the globe.
TLMGB follows UK public sector procurement legislation for guidance on dealing professionally, fairly, ethically, and upholding principles of sustainable procurement, with all potential and incumbent suppliers.
They are evaluated on criteria regarding their approach to modern slavery and we require our suppliers to maintain their standards while supplying us. To achieve this, we have a variety of channels, internally and externally facing which facilitate the raising of concerns over supplier behaviour.
TLMGB uses publicly available data on modern slavery to identify high risk categories and countries that TLMGB is supplied by.
We use a structured approach to collate information regarding:
· The sector the business operates in and whether any of its work is seasonal.
· The countries it sources its goods or services from to identify whether high risk countries where modern forms of slavery are prevalent.
· The makeup and complexity of supply chains.
· Relationships with suppliers and others including trade unions.
We aim to reduce the risk of slavery and human trafficking through:
· Ensuring appropriate checks are done on organisations we work with and do business with.
· Regular and constant monitoring of potential risks of slavery and human trafficking in our business our supply chains, and responding appropriately to those risks.
We have reviewed our procurement and due diligence policies and procedures and will conduct a review of suppliers we enter into agreements with and ensure that they agree to terms and conditions that require them to comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and, where applicable, review their own Modern Slavery Statement.
Where there is evidence of failure to comply with the terms and conditions our agreements, we will require that supplier or sub-contractor to remedy the non-compliance.
We invest in appropriate training to ensure staff are aware of and able to respond to incidents of Modern Slavery through businesses we enter into agreements with. Staff are aware of the commitment to combat slavery and human trafficking.
